En écho au Retour de la conférence, refusé pour immoralité au Salon de 1863 et au Salon des Refusés – l’œuvre montre un cortège de curés ivres –, le peintre publie en 1868 un opuscule, Les Curés en goguette, illustré de six dessins qu’il conçoit comme une extension de son tableau original et comme une intervention polémique, à caractère satirique, dans la tradition de la caricature anticléricale. Nevertheless, numerous plastic artists are making use of its forms, processes and connotations. During the 1960s decade, the advent of consumerism and its effects on the work of art duplicability gave a new rise to parody. This paper describes an approach for supporting automatic satire detection through effective deep learning (DL) architecture that has been shown to be useful for addressing sarcasm/irony detection problems. We both trained and tested the system exploiting articles derived from two important satiric blogs, Lercio and IlFattoQuotidiano, and significant Italian newspapers.

El artículo trata la descripción de los filósofos y pseudofilósofos en la sátira latina. A una breve introducción donde se recalca cómo el ataque personal era un elemento clave en este género, sigue un examen de las descripciones insertas en lo que convencionalmente se conoce como sátira regular, pese a que Varrón también aparece incluido con la intención de completar el panorama. El análisis diacrónico de las descripciones invita a pensar que se trata de un tópico especialmente activo en la poesía satírica y que tiende a incrementarse con el paso del tiempo, proporcionando siempre una imagen negativa de los falsos sabios.
